EST. 2012
Mon Sans Productions is a Sydney-based theatre company, established by Liviu Monsted and Melanie Araya in 2012. We are passionate about producing theatre that caters for and connects with a young adult audience.
Run by a core creative team, Mon Sans Productions is here to entertain audiences and showcase passionate and talented young actors.
WE'RE AN INCUBATOR FOR STAGE ACTORS
Mon Sans Productions is an incubator for new stage actors; often giving young people new to the industry their first opportunity to perform amazing works in professional spaces.
We're also firm believers in the ethics of paying actors for their performance work. In return, we expect the highest level of dedication from our casts because we want our audiences to have a fantastic experience watching our productions.
PROUDLY PRODUCING NEW WORKS
Equally, we strive to nurture and encourage the development and production of new pieces of writing. We produce engaging, challenging and highly entertaining new plays because that's what audiences connect with best.
TALENT SHOUT OUT
Collaborating with new artists is our jam. So if you're a talented young writer, actor, stage designer, or other theatre-related creative and you want to work with us - please get in touch. We love working with smart, witty people who love working hard, drinking coffee* and making magic happen on stage.
* Okay, drinking coffee is not required, just highly desirable.
CROWDFUNDING SUCCESS
To date, Mon Sans Productions has run four successful crowdfunding campaigns to help produce its first four theatre productions through Pozible. We are so thankful to every patron that has donated - your generosity means so much to us.
Thanks to these campaigns in June 2015 we were proud to announce that Mon Sans Productions is officially listed as a Pozible Ambassador. So if you ever need advice or think we can help with your performance campaign, drop us a line.

Synopsis:
Renowned artist Rory McGrory wakes up trapped in a mysterious art gallery surrounded by empty canvas’s. No art. No answers. And no way out—until he’s greeted by his ex-wife Pippa, who also happens to be dead. She’s determined to convince him that he is, too—and that the artless frames are, in fact, his life’s retrospective. But why can’t he see his own work? As Rory ricochets between denial and acceptance, he’s forced to confront his unresolved past and the emotional toll of a life half-seen. Is this strange afterlife gallery a purgatory—or his final chance to see his life clearly?
